Lavendar and Cinnamon

This is a tale of two young schoolmistresses in the 1920s who find themselves obliged to administer corporal punishment and are drawn into a series of unusual relationships. Sensitive Marianne is taught to wield the tawse and bullied by coarse Jenny McAllister. She is exploited by a salacious artist and eventually succumbs to the brutal charms of schoolmaster, Jock Rennie. Cheerful Rosie endures assaults upon her person not only from ruffians in a pub, but also from a perverted cleric during a game of ‘Murder in the Dark' and two Scottish former pupils at Marianne's wedding. She eventually finds happiness under the dominant sexuality of tall, red-haired Glynis Harwood. -
