Alysia Governess

Alysia, born in 1910, was the eldest daughter of a Headmaster. Her mother had been one of his teachers. Both had the benefit of a strict Victorian upbringing, and carried this virtue into both their professional and private lives. Alysia and her brothers and sisters were slapped on the backs of their legs as babies, smacked over their mother's knee as children, and strapped from the age of seven. Alysia, as the eldest, is even delegated to cane her younger brother and strap her sister. On leaving school, Alysia took a post as a junior schoolmistress in a boys' school where she takes on disciplinary duties beyond her station, to help a fellow schoolmaster without the backbone to do it himself. Alysia was even caned by the French Mistress, on instructions from the Headmaster, when she failed in her work. She marries, but is widowed in the war. She goes back to teaching in a council school, but hates it. So she decides to try life as a Governess to eight-year-old James and twelve-year-old Emily. The family also have another daughter, fourteen-year-old Jane. James proves slack in his ways and his Governess has to take him in hand and be very firm; spanking him at first, then administering the strap or cane as needed. A style he comes to accept and one which his parents also appreciate. Even the cook appreciates Alysia's style and has her caning the maid and even cook's husband!
